🎯 OBJECTIVE:
Get your team’s bocce balls closer to the pallino (the small target ball) than your opponent’s. Strategy, accuracy, and a little luck win the game!
🔢 GAME FORMAT
- Teams: 2–4 players per team
- Balls: Each team plays with 4 bocce balls (one color per team)
- Game to: First team to 12 points wins (must win by 2)
- Time Limit: 20 minutes
- Most points at 20 min. Wins. Tie = sudden death (1 ball each)
⚙️ HOW TO PLAY
- Coin Toss: Winner throws the pallino and the first bocce ball.
- Throw the Pallino: Must land beyond half-court and not touch the walls or other team takes over.
- Throwing Bocce Balls: Teams alternate throws. The team furthest from the pallino keeps throwing until they get closer or run out of balls.
- Tactical Play: You can:
- Knock your opponent’s balls away
- Move the pallino to gain advantage
- Frame End: Closest ball(s) score:
- 1 point per ball closer than opponent’s
- 2 points for a ball touching the pallino (“kissing”)
🚨 RULE REMINDERS
- No bouncing off backboards for scoring
- Feet behind the foul line at all times when throwing
- Throw underhand: All rolls must be underhand and pass the half-court line
- Dead balls (outside court or hitting boundaries) are removed from play
- Ties: No points are awarded; replay frame
